Recall 2000311: model years 1999, 2000
What's wrong: On certain child seats, two alignment posts in the base can become bent. If the posts are bent, owners may have difficulty installing the carrier onto the base. Bent posts could also interfere with proper latching of the carrier to the base preventing the child from being properly restrained in the event of a crash. Correction: Owners will be provided with metal clips which can be installed over the plastic posts.
How do I know if my Evenflo ON MY WAY POSITION RIGHT is affected?
Check the label on the side, back or bottom of the seat for the model number and date of manufacture, and compare them with the model years and dates in the official notice.
Is the fix free?
Recall remedies are free from the maker. The official notice lists how to get it, and Recallify can contact the maker for you.
