Recall 2012380: model years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012
What's wrong: Certain infant car seats may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213.1 - Infant Restraint Systems. The registration card included with the car seat does not contain a space for consumers to enter their e-mail addresses, and the minimum recommended infant height is not indicated on the labels affixed to the seat. Correction: A production change has been undertaken to remedy these technical non-compliance conditions. No corrective recall action is required as the technical non-compliance conditions are deemed to be non-safety related.
How do I know if my Evenflo EMBRACE is affected?
Check the label on the side, back or bottom of the seat for the model number and date of manufacture, and compare them with the model years and dates in the official notice.
Is the fix free?
Recall remedies are free from the maker. The official notice lists how to get it, and Recallify can contact the maker for you.
