Recall 2007281: model years 2003, 2004, 2005
What's wrong: Certain child restraint systems may experience slippage of the centre front adjuster. The resultant excessive slack in the harness system could increase movement of the child relative to the restraint system during a vehicle crash. Increased head excursion could place the occupant at risk of greater bodily injury or death. Correction: Dorel will send a repair kit to owners.
Recall 2004447: model year 2004
What's wrong: Certain child seats do no comply with the requirements of CMVSS 213.1. The restraint system could inadvertently change adjustment position from fully reclined to a more upright position. Extensive testing of the units has not shown that a change in angle will constitute a safety related problem. Correction: Since this does not pose any safety risk, no corrective action is required.
How do I know if my Cosco ALPHA OMEGA ELITE (22-C51) is affected?

Is the fix free?
