Recall 2024716: model years 2023, 2024
What's wrong: Issue: The text on the date of manufacture label is too small. Canadian regulations require certain text on labels to be of a minimum size. Safety Risk: The small text size used is unlikely to affect safety. Corrective Action: This is not a recall. Owners can continue to use their seat. Clek has made changes to correct all future labels.
Recall 2018451: model year 2016
What's wrong: Certain booster seats may not comply with the flammability requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 213.2 - Booster Seats. In the case of a vehicle fire, the fabric cover may not self-extinguish or may burn too quickly, accelerating the spread of the fire, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Owners should contact Clek by email or by phone as soon as possible to obtain a replacement seat bottom fabric cover. Note: Only Oobr models with “noire” coloured fabric that were manufactured between April 1, 2016 and November 22, 2016 are affected by this notice. Click here for more information
Recall 2017497: model years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
What's wrong: Certain child/booster seats may not comply with the requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations (RSSR). The instruction manual contains various errors and omissions, and labels affixed to the seat may not be visible to the user in all situations. Correction: A production change has been undertaken to remedy these non-compliance conditions. No corrective recall action is required as the non-compliance condition is deemed to be non-safety related.

The instruction manual and the labels affixed to the booster seat contain various translation errors and omissions. Correction: A production change has been undertaken to remedy these technical non-compliance conditions. No corrective recall action is required as the technical non-compliance conditions are deemed to be non-safety related.
How do I know if my Clek OOBR is affected?
Check the label on the side, back or bottom of the seat for the model number and date of manufacture, and compare them with the model years and dates in the official notice.
